Then check out our weight reduction modification for the Razer Viper 8K and Original Razer Viper gaming mouse. This base plate replaces the original base on the Razer Viper. The stock base weighs in at 13.3 grams, and the new base is 4.2 grams for a reduction of 9.1 grams.

Installation is fairly easy with a #000 phillips screwdriver. There are only six screws to remove.

In the event that you want to remove the modification it is completely reversible. The old base can simply be reinstalled and the mouse is back to original.
