Then check out our weight reduction modification for the Razer Viper Ultimate wireless gaming mouse. This base plate replaces the original base on the Razer Viper Ultimate. The stock base weighs in at 14.1 grams, and the new base is 4.5 grams for a reduction of 9.6 grams. The new base retains all original functionality including USB dongle storage slot, docking base charging, and USB cable charging.

Installation is fairly easy with a T6 Torx for the baseplate screws, and a #000 Phillips screwdriver for the main board and USB board inside the mouse. There are only 8 screws to remove.

In the event that you want to remove the modification it is completely reversible. The old base can simply be reinstalled and the mouse is back to original.
