This is a switch plate for Wooting 60HE. This PC (polycarbonate) plate will change the acoustics and feel of your Wooting 60HE. It is an excellent choice when you plan to use a metal case (aluminum) as it removes all the "ping" or high-frequency resonance that is otherwise produced with a standard steel metal plate.The PC material is softer, which makes the overall typing experience smoother. It promotes lower-frequency sounds and does not resonate with higher-frequency sounds. In addition to the board, the box contains a foam and silicone pad that can be placed between the PCB and the PC board.
The silicone pad provides a more subdued experience of the sound profile by lowering more mid-range frequencies and creating shorter, faster sounds. The foam pad dampens more of the higher frequencies and creates more emphasis on "shock". This PC plate is 1 piece of plastic injected with brass nuts embedded in the stand. This makes the plate extremely durable and easy to re-screw often.
In addition to 1x PC Switch Plate, this package also includes 1x Silicone Sandwich Pad and 1x Poron Foam Sandwich Pad.
